Barry is an HBO original series that only has 2 seasons as of now. It is directed by Alec Berg and Bill Hader, Bill Hader is also the lead role Barry. Barry follows a depressed hit man who has to kill a target in LA. From there, Barry is introduced to a theater program and feels like that is what his passion really is. He is an amazing hit man, but hates being a hit man and loves being an actor, but sucks at being an actor. I do not want to dive too deep into the story because the show is such a sight to behold! This is not really a show I would be into, but I am so glad I checked it out! It is a beautiful, horrifying, funny, tragic story that really does connect with you. Bill Hader is phenomenal in this role! I cried, laughed and hated with Barry. His character is fleshed out and he is such a complex character. This show has phenomenal acting all around and its performances is one of the main things that drives this show. The comedy is smart, the tension is perfect and the drama is fantastic! It is beautifully shot and has amazing cinematography! The score is amazing and memorable. There are so many twists and turns, that it really keeps you on edge the entire time. You will fall in love with the story, which is so original and I have not seen anything like it before! Barry is a flawless show! In the end, Barry is a beautiful show that really sticks with you and will have you on the edge of your seat! My name’s Plasticnut and I give Barry 10 out of 10 acorns!
