Suspiria is a 2018 remake of the 1977 original. I have not seen the original so I am not going to compare the two. Shit was this movie weird! Like this film was disgusting, terrifying, unnerving and fucking disturbing! I love this film! While this is not in my top 10, it would make my top 20 no doubt! This films cast is great! Everyone one was into it! Tilda Swinton plays 3 characters at once and she totally nails every role! The story is kind of everywhere though. The only complaint I would have with this film is that they try to fit as much as they can, but it just drags out into a painful 2 hour and 30 minute film. I can see that they were trying to make as much sense as possible for what was going on, but I feel for a film like this you only need so much. I can see this film being very controversial though, so if you are not into witchcraft or Antichrist type things then this film is not for you. This film is also very hard to watch in some scenes and can be quite unnerving, this film is not for the faint of heart! In the end, Suspiria is a horrifying and disturbing film with a phenomenal cast, but the story can be hard to follow and the film is dragged out for an almost 3 hour run time.
