The Boy is a 2019 Amazon Prime original and is inspired by the graphic novel of the same name. I really love this show! The story and the characters are amazing! The story is something so new and refreshing when it comes to the superhero genre. We see that superheroes are not what we make them out to be. It is a concept I have never seen in a show like this before. I do not want to spoil anything, so I will say nothing more. The characters really drive this show though. Every single character interaction is so fluid and fun to watch! When I first watched the trailer for this show I thought it was going to be like comedy and a spoof on superheroes. Boy, was I wrong! The show is very dark and sometimes can be heartbreaking to watch. The way the characters evolve during the duration of the show is phenomenal! The music is great as well! The color and the way the show is shot is amazing! Everything about the show phenomenal! In the end, The Boys is an amazing show that touches on mature and relevant subjects with stellar acting and a phenomenal story! My names Plasticnut and I give The Boys 10 out of 10 acorns!
